Primary Department

Your child’s first experiences of school are to be savoured. They should be happy, fun and memorable. That is why the Primary Department at Ockbrook School focuses on the individual needs of each and every pupil.

We prepare your child for a personal learning journey that equips them with the skills and confidence to make the most of their future.

As a dedicated Primary Department with specialist teaching staff, we enjoy a long tradition of excellence. Most recently this is evidenced in our recent Ofsted inspection of our Early Years provision and Independent School’s Inspectorate Inspection in 2006 of the whole school. This success shines through in our high academic standards and the breadth of our educational experience - including Sports, Arts, Sciences, Music and Drama, as well as countless extra curricular activities - on which Ockbrook School has built its reputation for excellence.

We welcome boys and girls aged 2 -11 years. The Mount accommodates our Nursery, Reception and Years 1 to 3, and The Grange is home to Years 4 to 6.
