Sport

Sport forms a large part of the School’s extensive extra-curricular programme. In our Primary Department ballet, tap dance, gymnastics, tag ruby and golf are delivered by specialist tutors within our excellent sports facilities.
In the Senior Department sports clubs and teams run throughout Years 7 - 13. Netball, hockey, athletics, tennis, rounders, cross country, football and dance are just a selection of activities offered by our expert staff at lunchtimes and afterschool. The PE department organises a bi-annual skiing trip; in recent years we have visited Jasper, Banff, Lake Louise and in December 2008 we are travelling to Stowe, USA.
There is an extensive fixture list throughout the year and students of all abilities are given maximum opportunities to participate. We enjoy an enviable record of success in county, regional and national sporting competitions. Within our House system we provide the opportunity for internal sports competitions every Friday lunchtime.
