Our Inspections
Independent School’s Inspectorate
Our most recent whole School inspection took place in February 2010. The conclusion of the inspection was as follows:
Inspection Reports Rise in Quality at Ockbrook School
A five day inspection of Ockbrook School by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) has confirmed the quality of education and personal development at Ockbrook as ‘excellent’.
The ISI inspection acknowledges the collective importance of the contribution that staff, students, parents and governors make to the school’s day-to-day success. The report also points to the number of important structural changes since the school’s last inspection in 2006 that ‘have contributed to raising the quality of education at Ockbrook’.
The inspection identifies investment by the school in improved Information Communication Technology (ICT) resources and the use of ICT across the curriculum, coupled with changes in curriculum and its delivery, supported by greater responsibility delegated to middle management as specific factors in the school’s continued progress.
